PS Core wasn't designed on a drawing board. It was built at the counter of we‑fixit, my first repair shop. It grew out of the daily work of a repair business, from the processes that have to work there every day: intake, diagnosis, spare parts, invoicing, pick-up. What doesn't help there doesn't make it into the product.
